PRIVACY POLICY
This policy explains what information Rip Chaser collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service, and we never sell your personal information.
1. Information We Collect and Why
We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the Service. Here is what we collect and why:
- Account and sign-in. When you create an account we use Supabase (a third-party authentication provider) together with Google, Apple, or Facebook OAuth to verify your identity. We receive your email address and a unique account ID from those providers. We use this to create and secure your account and to send you essential service messages such as receipts and notices.
- Subscription and payment. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details and email address directly on their platform; we never see or store your card number. We store only a Stripe customer reference ID and your subscription status. We use this to provide and manage the Pro subscription and to send billing notices (receipts, renewals, and price change notifications).
- Usage and analytics. We collect anonymized usage data (pages viewed, products opened, general location derived from IP, device and browser type) through Google Analytics. We use this to understand what features are useful and to improve the product. This data is not linked to your identity.
- Technical and security data. We process your IP address and HTTP request metadata through Cloudflare, our security and content delivery provider, and through DigitalOcean, our hosting provider. We use this to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and diagnose technical issues. Server logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted.
- Marketing email (optional). If you opt in, we add your email address to our list in Sender to send occasional product news and offers. We do this only with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us.
- Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: (1) session and sign-in cookies to keep you logged in; (2) preference cookies to remember your settings; and (3) analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the Service is used. Analytics cookies are anonymized. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time through the Cookie preferences link in our footer, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out. You can also control or disable cookies in your browser settings; disabling session cookies will prevent sign-in from working.
2. What We Do Not Collect
We do not store your payment card number, CVV, or bank details; Stripe handles those entirely on their platform. Our application database is designed to hold no personal information beyond the account references described above. The card checklist, pricing, and odds data we publish is product information, not personal data.
3. Who We Share Data With
We share data only with the service providers listed below. Each processes data solely to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or request deletion:
- We will delete or anonymize your personal data from our systems within 30 days of the request.
- Stripe retains billing and payment records as required by tax and financial regulations; we do not control that retention.
- Server and security logs held by DigitalOcean and Cloudflare are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically.
- Anonymized analytics data held by Google Analytics has no personal identifiers and is retained per Google's standard retention settings.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit, access controls limiting who within our operation can access account data, and reliance on Cloudflare for network-level threat mitigation. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Marketing opt-out: you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days as required by law. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.
7. Children
Rip Chaser is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete their account and any associated personal data. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at [email protected].
8. International Users
Rip Chaser is currently operated for users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to that transfer. We will update this policy if we expand to serve users in jurisdictions with additional data protection requirements, such as the European Union or United Kingdom.
9. Third-Party Links
The Service links to outside marketplaces such as eBay. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit through a link on ripchaser.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will revise the "last updated" date above. For material changes, we will notify subscribers by email to the address on file or by prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
